What i have been working on!

Ok, so aside from ALLLLLLL the stuff i am working on for Christmas. We went to the Christmas party at school today and the girls had tons of fun!

Brittany sang with her little choir. She did a great job!

Then they made Christmas cards to send to the troops! Very cool! I always try to let the girls know how important it is to support our troops. And what they do for us. One of James' nephews is there right now, and our neice's husband came back from Iraq not too long ago. Thanx to them and all that serve, and the wives and families that support them!

The girls also got to see santa. And strangely enough they asked him for things that they have never even mentioned wanting in the last year! ROFL! I said what about the other things you wanted????? They said, I don't know, I just want this instead! Go figure! And of course, "Santa" already got them the other stuff they had been asking for.
These are the outfits I have been working on for the girls for the last week or so.

And here was Christian's first picture with Santa :)

What have I been up to this week?

Sewing, sewing sewing...and...uh.... did i mention sewing? ROFL! since i am making everything for Christmas this year I have a lot of sewing to do! But i got a ton of stuff done. I didnt really think i had gotten much done, till i made a list of all the stuff i have done, then i was really impressed with myself!
The Thrifty Under Fifty thing has really gotten me motivated! So far all I have had to buy was a pack of colored pencils, and some yarn for beanies and some filler for stuffed monkeys. Yes i said stuffed monkeys. I was skeptical at first, and as I made the first one, i thought...uh... this is soooooo bad!!!! But the girls actually really liked him! ROFL! And i ended up giving it to Christian, and he seemed to really like it too. Then Angel asked for one in all different sizes! LOL! So we will see how many more mommy ends up having to make before Christmas!
So here is my list for the week. This is what I did:
1 SAHM +
2 homeschooled daughters +
1 mischevious toddler +

New Pics of My Little Man

Ok, with a face so full of love and joy I just can't stop taking pictures of him!! Here are a couple new ones I snapped and worked on today :) Now I just need to get some new ones of the girls!

Thrifty Under Fifty, Under way!!

OK, i am underway on my thrifty under 50 challenge from I have already made a few presents and i have quite a few more that i am currently in the middle of. it is hard to make Christmas presents for little people who are constantly walking in on you and asking what you are doing! LOL! But i have managed to get some of them done.

The worst is when I am helping them with the gifts for each other. The girls are little magnets to each other! When one is doing something the other 2 HAVE to know what is going on. So they

are constantly walking by my craft room door and peeking in. It is the whole, tell a kid "no" and they will automatically do it, concept i guess.

Anyway, wish me luck on all the things i still need to get done! I am realizing very quickly here that i am running out of time.

My New Man!

In September a new man entered my life and i am sure that i will never be the same. I mean who in their right mind could ever be the same after seeing this face and smile?

Thanksgiving Party at the Park!

So we had a blast at our Homeschooling thanksgiving party! We used Angel's Halloween pumpkin to make some pumpkin muffins and we made Cornbread Apricot sage cookies! Yum Yum!! The girls had a great time there at the park. What a great park too! It is a little far for us since we live in the NE, but hey, it was a super nice park!!!
Bria and Angel were just crazy about the slide!

Brit is my swingin fool! That girl loves to go high on the swings! All she would talk about in
kindergarten and first grade was the swings the swings the swings, at recess and how there were never enough of them!

Thanx so much to my new friend Amanda who organized the whole thing! It was so much fun! Amanda and I have so much in common I am so glad that I met her! I can tell we are well on our way to being great friends!

I made the YCMT challenge of thrifty under 50! Woohoo! I am so excited! The object is to see if you can make your Christmas gifts, cool and without spending money. And...well... for those of you who have seen my craft room, that shouldn't be too hard!! LOL!

Wow! I am finally doing it! I am using my blog!!! LOL! I have had this thing set up for like a year and never used it, but i figure i proabably shoudl start. not just so others can see it, but so i can start keeping a little family journal about what we are doing.

So here is my first entry! These are the Loves of my life! They are the delights of my life. I have been so very blessed by them. My 3 beautiful daughter, cute chubby baby boy, and my loving husabnd. I feel so priveledged to be their mom and wife, and sometime wonder why the Lord has blessed me so richly! My 3 beautiful girls and new baby boy are such a joy to me. And my Hubby is such a great man who is so supportive and loving towards me. And works so hard to support us as a family. I am truly grateful for him.

I made the outfits for my girls for Halloween. And their costumes! This was our first outing with our new HomeSchooling group! It was so fun! We went to a pumpkin farm here in town and got pumpkins and then had a party at the park!

Then we went to church for a Halloween party on the 31st. Halloween is my favorite holiday, so i go all out on the costumes. I made the girls costumes, but jsut didnt ahve the time to make mine or James or Christians. James, was Obi Wan Kenobi, isnt he so sexy? Christian was obviously Yoda. And i was a jedi apparently no one had heard of! LOL! Her name is Barris Offee. She is an awesome healer and great jedi. Plus is meant i got to wear a blue cloak and blue lipstick, so it was right up my alley!

Here is Britty "Pippi"! She has loved Pippi for almost as long as me! LOL! So she finally decided to be Pippi. I am afraid this might be her last year wanting to be a little girl character :( So sad, they grow up so fast!

Brianna Totally surprised me by asking to be Lucy Pensieve from The Chronicles of Narnia. She looked so cute in her Lucy costume! She had so much fun. Sadly there werent enough Narnia fans there, and no one knew who she was suppose to be. But that's ok baby, no one knew who i was suppose to be either! LOL!

And then of course there is miss Angel! It really surprised me that people didnt know who she was suppose to be. What didn't surprise me was Who she wanted to be! She has been it before and love love loves this character, so there was no surprise here! She was jsut adorable in her Minnie Mouse costume, and what she likes to call her "Poofy skirt" ROFL!
